Our biggest adventure yet...

I have felt a bit weird about putting this out there on the internet, because when it comes to these kind of situations, you don't want random internet bitches looking at your life. But when I thought about it, I realized I wanted to have somewhere to write about our lives and our amazing new adventure, so I just decided to do it. Most people who come across this blog will be looking to read about Trek America/traveling, but I'm going to use this blog now to write about our little family and I'm mainly writing it for myself to look back on and remember.

We found out at the end of summer 2012 that we are expecting a baby due in May 2013. We are over the moon about it and can't wait to start having adventures as a family of 3. It has changed our plans for this year dramatically, we were meant to be going to Florida to renew our vows next month, which we have now pushed back to October, so it will be our baby's first trip to Walt Disney World also!!

We found out just before Christmas that we are having a girl! It was a massive surprise as we were convinced from the moment we knew we were expecting that it was a boy. We get to have our very own Disney princess! So far I have been very lucky, apart from a lot of sickness and being very tired, the pregnancy has been great. Our girl is happy and healthy and is growing well.

I am now 25 weeks, only 15 weeks until she arrives, it's going so slowly yet so quickly at the same time. We are both so excited to meet her.

  1. Awww Lauren!!! Congratulations to you and Gary!!! I don't know what's in the air, but so many Disney Bride friends of mine are having babies this year and it's so wonderful that you're among them. :) You look so cute pregnant and how cool about having a little princess. I'm truly happy for you both and can't wait to hear all about the VR and baby's first trip to America! YAY!!!!

  2. Just found your blog-massive congratulations! I have two aged 2 and under and it is WONDERFUL! I have just started blogging publicly and yes, sometimes it is a balancing act trying to keep things private but it is also wonderful to have a record of pregnancy and your baby's developments!
